Name: Emberpaw
Age: 9 moons
Gender: Female
Clan: Riverclan
Rank: Apprentice
Personality:
distant. maybe it's from her past, or maybe it's because she gets the cold shoulder from her clan mates, but emberpaw has built up a lot of walls, making her seem distant to her clan mates. secluded and guarded, she is a pain in the tail to try and talk to, and if you do get past the walls she's built around her mind, you will be rewarded with a ghost of a smile, and a level of respect that not many receive from her. emberpaw's distance, and seclusion from her clan mates also plays a huge part in her blunt, not giving a damn attitude, because she feels no emotional attachment to them.
loyal. to try and better the life her mother made for her, she has sworn her loyalty to riverclan. she is determined to show her clan mates that she would not betray them like her mother did. her loyalty to the clan goes as far as not talking to other clan cats at gatherings, and being especially cold to them. even at the mere age of nine moons, she has sworn to herself that she would die for riverclan, under any, and every circumstance that might come into play. she lives and breathes the warrior code, and when it comes to the point in which she has a mate, she will stand by them no matter what happens.
non-believer. emberpaw, though extremely devoted to the warrior code, does not believe in the cats up in the sky. the idea to her is too surreal for her grasp, and the logic behind it does not make any sense to her whatsoever. though she does not flaunt her lack of faith, she has made it quite clear that starclan holds no meaning to her at all. she believes that when something happens at gatherings, like the moon being covered by clouds, she believes it is nothing out of the ordinary, and to her, it is no different than when the sun is hidden by the clouds.
[/blockquote]Description:
pelt. the young she-cat was given the beautiful pelt of an orange tabby. with a soft orange base coat, the she-cats darker mid tones and highlights are quite noticeable, but not so much that it is overwhelming for her small frame. most of the tabby markings are a slightly darker hue of orange, which circle her legs, and break up the base coat that covers her. the she-cats tail is most the light orange, with rings of dark orange encircling it from base to just before the tip, where it lightens to a very pale, almost white, orange. the typical tabby markings are visible on her face. the she-cats muzzle is white, with a pink triangular nose.
eyes. some say that eyes are the window to the soul. well, not for this she-cat. though they are a beautiful dark topaz colour, they reveal no emotions that she is experiencing. most would say her eyes appear dead, because they are so expressionless. along with this, emberpaw can come off as cold, but it is not the case, she has just perfected the art of keeping her emotions to herself.

the sins of the parents, should not become the sins of their children. terncall, the dark orange tabby warrior was great at sinning: stealing prey from the other territories, and lying about where she got it from; flirting with every tom in her clan, and some that weren't. she wasn't the best warrior in riverclan, rather large, and clumsy, and not very bright when it came to the way of the clan, but she knew what she was good at, and that was getting with toms. she could flirt her way into the hearts of any tom she wanted to without returning the feelings. well, until she met one tom.
this tom wasn't of riverclan descent, or any of the other clans. he was a tom cat from the big city, rough, and dangerous. terncall fell easily. he had the voice of an angel, and meeting with him night after night gave her a thrill she had never experienced as a clan cat. the she-cat never thought of leaving the clan, she liked sleeping in a den all nicely prepared for her by the annoying apprentices, so she compromised. he would stay on the far edge of riverclan territory, or at four trees, whichever suited him at night, and she would meet him there.
it wasn't long before she found herself pregnant, and trying to frantically put her life back together. the already poor clan contributions became even poorer, and her clan mates had begun to notice. they had their suspicions of course, as to why she was so tired all the time, and when she began to show her pregnancy their speculations were true. a tom that was infatuated with her, offered to tell the clan that he was the father. she accepted this openly.
she was admitted into the nursery during the later part of her pregnancy, not allowed to leave at night. her kittens' daddy wasn't too happy about this, and one night he wandered into the world of the river. he caught her scent and found her in the nursery sleeping peacefully. wiggling his way into the den, he clamped his teeth on the back of her neck, and she awoke instantly yowling. the strength of the tom easily exceeded her own, and he drug her out of the nursery by her neck angry that he hadn't seen her in awhile.
warriors who had her cry, came out of the den and into the scene. terncall was panicking, telling him that she loved him, and that as soon as her kits were born she would leave the camp for him. hinder, her mate, furious with the situation threatened her life that if she didn't stick to her word, he would come and find her. the warriors of riverclan chased him out of the camp and off the territory. terncall, shaking with fear made her way back in the nursery to wait out her pregnancy. due to her betrayal to the clan, she was told she was allowed to stay till the kittens were born then she would have to leave.
soon, labour came upon her and she birthed three kits, emberkit, mosskit, and lightkit. unfortunately, mosskit, passed in the night, due to an ulcer in her throat that went undetected by the medicine cat. come morning, terncall was gone and she left her kits to a young queen with only one kit.
emberkit
the truth about her mother, was not kept from her for very long. when she was three moons old, the news was broken to her, and this would be the start of her withdrawal from the clan around her. both her sister and her, got the hairy eyeball from their clan mates, but lightkit took it much better than emberkit ever did. emberkit, took it as a challenge to show them that she didn't care what they thought of her. it became a constant battle within her head to tell herself that she didn't care, and eventually she believed it and it started to show.
being a kit, she knew that she couldn't show her loyalty to the clan, something she wanted to prove, just to spite everyone who doubted her and her sister. her longing to become an apprentice was becoming quite noticeable, she could barely sit still at the best of times, and she was always asking apprentices what it was like to be trained. so when she finally reached her sixth moon, she couldn't of been happier.

blunt. despite the fact that she is young, she has learned to not pull any punches when it comes to what she has to say. with her, if she has something to say you're going to hear it, doesn't matter if your a kit, elder, or the leader. the she-cat also has a dry sense of humour, and many take her jokes as an insult, causing the unfortunate consequence of not many liking her. this doesn't bother her much, she could care less what her clan mates think of her most of the time.
