He watched the little things, the birds, and the mice. Appleeye was ready to hunt but his mind drifted. He though to of back in camp, how was SilverBrook and TearLight? He sighed and moved on. Slowly the sleek brown cat jumped onto a rocky boulder and eyed a small robin.Quickly he stumbled up the tree with hushed paws then eyes set on the bird he leaped, but slipped on the branch.Catching his footing he climbed back up and trashed the bird with his paw, then with his jaw he bit it and climbed down. It was a successful hunt, well sort of. The sun was high in the sky and a few trees lined the slope as Appleeye headed back to camp. He waved his tail and hoped to see some one..[/style] [STYLE=font-size:10px; padding-left: 12px; font-weight: bold]words: 161 tags: OPEN notes: no biggie credit: template made by oxymoron! of btn[/style] | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, width:400px, bTable][style=text-align:center;width:100px; font-family:courier new; font-size:10px; line-height:13px; border: 2px #fa7a7a solid; width: 100px; height: 100px;][/style]

Running. For no apparent reason, a tabby tom speeds through grassy clearings, weaving through the abundant obstacles. Driftpaw had longed for the sound of his rock hard paws dappling on the newleaf grass, after a blanket of snow hid it. Whish, whish. After a burst of sprinting, the young apprentice abruptly halts. He can't quite catch his breath, gulping for air. Wheezing, he leans on a budding tree.
Breathe in...breathe out... Driftpaw reminded himself, forcing his body to inhale and exhale with the natural rhythms. Blinking, the brown apprentice shakes out the grimy tears in his eyes.
